We stopped in at the Nissan Dealership as scheduled. We met with Alejandro and looked over the new vehicles. That part went well. And we actually liked Alejandro. He seemed knowledgeable and was pleasant.

And I forgot to mention that we arrived at 6:30pm and left at 8:10pm. There was never another person who stopped in. It was a ghost town.... And after trying to be a customer there, I can see why.
His name is Vladi. And just for starters he had his 3 year old child there literally hanging off of him while we tried to talk. It was constant interruptions and VERY unprofessional! And to make things worse he was very condescending and made my wife and I very uncomfortable. We separated ourselves from him by pretending to look around the showroom. My wife and I discussed him between ourselves and wanted to just leave right then. But we couldn't. Alejandro was gone with our vehicle getting a trade in value. We decided to give the situation the benefit of the doubt and stayed to see the results. And this was SOLELY because we liked Alejandro and wanted to see if he could turn the situation around.
After my vehicle was recovered from being stolen I needed to have my keys re-programmed, so that it couldn't be stolen again. It was recovered right before Thanksgiving, so I needed to have the service done while travelling, away from my home dealership. I had it done at the Nissan dealership in Oshkosh and it was a great experience. They were very responsive and kind. They scheduled me in at a time that was convenient for me, even during the busy season. It was less expensive than my home dealership quoted and it was done very quickly. Additionally, they put my front license plate on for me without me asking (my old plates weren't recovered with the car and I didn't have the screws to put the new one on yet). I recommend them for service (I didn't interact with sales people).
I've been working with Nick Plamann and not only is he a stellar representative of the Bergstrom brand, he is an incredibly awesome, honest and down to earth gentleman!!! Will be finalizing my 4th vehicle purchased from Bergstrom's next week Tuesday and I couldn't have done it without Nick's assistance in the entire process!!! Great company, excellent service, top notch vehicles...you can't go wrong with Bergstrom!!
Well, then we got our trade in value from Vladi. It was $14,000. We informed him that we were already offered $21,500 from a different dealership who is selling the same vehicles..... He scoffed at us and told us he would never see us again. It was really the way he said things that was so irritating. I can honestly say if I treated my customers like he treated us, I would be out of a job!
Then he left us with his sales manager.... And everything changed.... for the worse.....
My husband brought in his 2014 Nissan Sentra that was having transmission problems. The tech conveniently couldn't find anything wrong with it and it broke down in Indiana less than a week laster and now needs a brand new transmission. This left my husband stranded and had us accruing countless bills for hotels and mileage let alone the time he now has to take off of work. I will never trust my car with this dealership again. All the tech could muster was a sorry when we called and told them what happened. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
