I've looked at several different jewelry stores and was never satisfied. Until I went to Kay Jewelers, by far the most friendly and workable place.
I needed to buy a wedding band to match my fiancée's engagement ring but the unique shape of her ring made it difficult to find your run-of-the-mill band. I was certain that I'd have to go the expensive route and have one custom made. Much to my delight, the folks at the Kay Outlet in Oshkosh showed me a beautiful band that had nearly the same shape as her engagement ring. They then explained in detail how it would be resized to her finger size, molded to meet the contours of the engagement ring, and look like it was meant to go with her ring. I'm extremely impressed with the service I received as well as the cost, which was considerably less than what I was quoted by other jewelers that wanted to make a custom band.
We ordered a ring and was told it would be sized and ready to just be picked up!! We traveled over an hour and THEY NEVER SIZED IT!!! So now we still have to wait 2 more weeks!!!
The store itself is great but I called because I had a question about the ring some lady named de answered the phone she was very rude and rushed me I don't know if she was busy or with a customer since she didn't even explain why she was in such a rush seems as if my call wasn't important...I had a question about my warranty and I couldn't even finish spelling my fiance name because she cut me short didn't even tell me she would call me bck just said ok I'll take a look bye. WOW very rude if I based my opinion just because of her I would not go back there ..just writing this review because someone really needs to talk to her (management wise)this is not the first time I've had this kind of interaction with her with the same reaults...
I probably spend way too much of my time here, but the staff is so welcoming! They greet us by name and show us new pieces they know we will love! This store is by far my favorite Kay's location. They always try to get you the best deal they can. They have a large selection of jewelry and watches to choose from. I'm personally a huge fan of their Le Vian selection! My mother wasn't able to stop in for a little under a year, and they called her just to see if all was well and chat with her. They always offer to clean and check the stones in my rings and earrings. I remember stopping in when I was 16 years old, and they treated my boyfriend and I with just as much respect then as they do now! Overall, a phenomenal jewelry store.
