I was referred to this place by my old mechanic who retired recently. I really respected him as a mechanic so despite it being a ways away from me I decided the drive would be worth it if he suggested them.
My car had blown a cylinder while I was on my way to work so I phoned a ride and in my rush to get to work on time I accidentally left some of my lunch in the back seat. I asked my dad to drive the car to Lake-Aire through two cities since it couldn't go over 35 mph and couldn't go on the highway. This was over the weekend so only today I come to find out they refused me service saying "They wouldn't put any of their employees in our garbage can". I was incredibly saddened by this response. It was rude and uncalled for. They never gave me a chance to explain before they verbally attacked me. I had such high hopes for Lake-Aire. :(
Honest staff that are willing to help. You don't feel as though you're being ripped off. Best in Oshkosh!
I was towed here because my car broke down. He treated me with kindness and respect. I checked in with my normal mechanic to make sure I wasn’t getting hosed and Lake Aires knowledge of my car ended up saving me a lot of money. Great guy!
